What is ePrime?
The ePrime is the first aesthetic device able to deliver controlled energy straight into the target area, stimulating natural production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. While other traditional energy based devices are primarily focused on skin ‘tightening’, ePrime breaks out of that paradigm as the only medical device to achieve significant volumetric improvement, restoration of facial topography and improved skin quality and tone. Creating a more complete aesthetic experience.
The ePrime Difference
Patients today are savvy consumers looking for dramatic face-lift style results without the typical days to months of downtime associated with a surgical procedure. Laser and light based treatments are the current gold standard of non-surgical alternatives to correct signs of aging skin, but they also have their own limitations as both options predominantly address superficial skin imperfections such as age spots, wrinkles and skin laxity.
ePrime is the first of it’s kind that’s clinically shown to improve the signs of aging through increasing volume – restoring the plumpness and suppleness that gradually is lost with time. In addition ePrime is one of the few procedures that is safe for all skin types whereas laser and even light sources may not be recommended for darker skin types due to possible risk of skin discoloration known as hyperpigmentation. Traditional laser and light technologies works by delivering the maximum amount of energy “through” the skin’s surface (epidermis) to the target tissue (dermis) without overheating the top layer of the skin. This method significantly limits the amount of energy that can be delivered due to the possible risk of hyperpigmentation.
A session with the ePrime device usually takes less than an hour, including the time to numb the area with a local anesthesia. ePrime can achieve desirable results in a single treatment. Since a local anesthesia is used, the level of discomfort is very manageable. Results will become visible in six to eight weeks after the treatment and will continue to improve over the course of six months.

ePrime results are variable depending on the patient’s genetics, age and skin condition. However, due to the direct and strictly controlled delivery of energy treatment variability is virtually eliminated. In a recent clinical study 100% of the patients had significant changes after 6 months. A recent clinical study revealed that volume restoration with ePrime resulted in improvement comparable to one-third the tightening seen post a surgical facelift. While ePrime is not a replacement for facelift surgery, this data suggest ePrime is a viable alternative for patients who do not want or are not ready for surgery and the associated risk and downtime.
Downtime with ePrime is minimal. Post treatment patients should expect minor redness, swelling, and/or focal bruising, which lasts a few days but can easily be covered with makeup within 24 hours. ePrime’s microneedles are extremely narrow in diameter, even more so than neurotoxin therapy (Botox) needles, thus patients recover from needle penetrations almost immediately.
Cost can vary greatly based on factors such as where you live and local cost of living. On average the cost is usually $3k-5k for one session.
