My Thermage treatment was a great thing to do, because it made me feel completely different afterwards. I had some lines and saggy skin on and under my neck and after trying all kinds of creams I finally gave up because they were not giving me permanent results. My friend told me about Thermage so I just went for it and made an appointment. My doctor explained to me that the treatment stimulates the collagen in the tissue, which tightens the appearance of my skin, by eliminating the wrinkles and fine lines. After just one session, I felt that my skin was smoother and toned and the lines on my neck were nearly all gone. The treatment lasted for about 30 minutes; it was painful but 100% worth it!

I am 59 years old and have always taken good care of my skin. Recently I noticed that my neck seemed to be sagging a bit more. I will never go in for a face lift but wanted something that might firm up that area more permanently than fillers would. Thermage did just that. I look and feel younger and it will last me for quite a while.

This was my first time using a filler. The injections were into the nasolabial folds and were very painful even though they had lidocaine. It would have been worth it if the outcome had been better. For the first week there was a visible rod shaped lump on one side as well as a ball-like bump. (Also a large bruise and red spots at the injection sites, all impossible to conceal.) Right after the first week things looked good for several days. But then the gel migrated higher up in my face, well above the folds. Now there are two pillows above the folds, and the folds are back again. I went to the office to ask about this and was told to use a warm washcloth to try to push them down. I've tried without much luck. It wasn't worth $525 to look better for a couple days. I can't wait for the 6 months to be up (how long it takes to disappear, supposedly).
